Kiwi Leisure:
Kiwi Leisure is the motorhome division of Kev and Ian's Marine Services Ltd.
This company has been in business for eighteen years, with brands including
Stabicraft, CSB Huntsman, Yamaha, Johnson and Evinrude
While the company is a well established retailer of trailer powerboats,
and also provides a complete workshop facility and accessories showroom, it
recently sought to diversify.
The process of diversification began with a decision to
remain focused on recreational leisure products.
We also wanted to ensure that any new brands adopted would represent excellent quality and value, and would be as well respected as our boating brands.
This resulted in a careful investigation and focus on the New Zealand motorhome
industry. Visits to motorhome retailers, motorhome shows and many discussions with
motorhome owners were carried out.
It was then very apparent that if we could find a product ( probably European
built ) that offered the features that owners wished to have but were either
lacking or available only as a very expensive option then we should
investigate that product.
A trip to Europe, and visits to trade shows and
manufacturers there, made it a simple decision.
Having viewed all the major European brands the Rimor
product was what our customers would want!
